THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (MONK SHERBORNE ROAD, SHERBORNE ST JOHN) URGENT NOTICE 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 considers that the closure specified below should come into force.
Road Affected:-
Monk Sherborne Road, Sherborne St John – From the junction with Weybrook Court heading north west for approx 208m towards Salters Heath Road
Reason for Closure:-
Works will be undertaken to allow for essential cable works involving customer out of service
Alternative Route:-
Via Monk Sherborne Road, Salters Heath, A340 or by this route reversed.
Period of closure:-
The closure will come into effect on 08 July 2021 for 5 days only between the hours of 09:30am to 15:30pm (until 12 July 2021 or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner)
